Paula.G Homeware was born out of necessity and passion during the coronavirus lockdown, a creative pivot from Paula Goosen’s Zulu beadwork enterprise, Jabulani Jewellery. Facing restrictions that halted Jabulani Jewellery’s operations, Paula embarked on a new journey to support her family and dedicated team. The result is Paula.G Homeware – a blend of African heritage and fine dining elegance.
Paula, with her background in speech and hearing therapy from UCT and subsequent creative ventures in Seattle, envisioned a brand that celebrates African artistry and provides dignified employment. Through her dedication, Paula.G Homeware has upskilled artisans whom she then employs to craft each piece with precision and care, ensuring every product embodies quality and exclusivity.
“I don’t want people to buy our products for the beautiful story that it is, but rather for the beautiful product we produce,” Paula shares.
